Guitarmonk's Kapil Srivastava Gives Away 5000 Album Copies on Birthday

Kapil Srivastava, also known as The Guitar Man of India, gifted 5000 copies of his albums on his birthday for his fans.

Kapil who made his first television debut in album titled ‘Lady Chatterjee’ as a guitarist in year 2007 is today one of India’s best guitarists and a leading name in guitar community, awarded and recognized by state government, Delhi University, Rotary Club, Federation of Public Schools, Amity etc. This Delhi-born guitarist, who has led more than 5000+ guitar fanatics worldwide (in more than 7+ countries), is also author of six famous guitar books and founder of Guitarmonk and several other music brands and concepts including successful concepts as GM Radio, Indian Guitaroo and more.

Kapil, also known as The Guitar Man of India, has performed guitar with Sa Re Ga Ma HMV and other record labels and has so far 3 albums to his credits.

On being asked about what’s special in year 2012 on his birthday, the Guitarmonk said: “Each year I move more close to life and something that makes my b’day more special is that I have no bad sentiments, no blames and there is love all around. And this is something I want to return back to my all students, guitar fans worldwide via my Indian Guitaroo Album Gifts, is my way of thanking them in return. I feel great pleasure to share something that they would love, enjoy and feel a little motivated by."

On being asked how he is celebrating his birthday, 23rd, he replied, "This 23rd, I am going to do a lots of shopping and would be like the biggest b’day shopping year of my life so far. Will celebrate some time and lunch with my close friends and then dinner with my cousins and family. Thank you for remembering me on my b’day. I wish all my associates, student and fans a great life ahead."
