Aussie/Filipino WEST END star, ROCKSTAR:INXS finalist, INTERNATIONAL RECORDING ARTIST, and now BROADWAY star MiG Ayesa announces the much anticipated ‘MORE THAN EVER’ official
album launch.
‘MORE THAN EVER’, the recently released follow-up to his self titled debut album ‘MiG’ which was released globally in 2007 on Decca/Universal Records, consists of all original tracks recorded in Sydney, London, and New York, and is the result of not only a collaboration of dedication, determination, and tremendous heart, but the result of MiG’s will to never give up on his lifelong dream of sharing his music with the world. Making music not only where he feels he belongs, but defines who he is. By releasing the follow-up album, MiG hopes to not only give back to his family, friends, and fans who have supported him from his earliest days in Sydney, but to also in turn, have the opportunity to write, record, and release more music, in the hope of inspiring others, artists and people of all walks of life, to never give up on their dreams.
MiG recently finished his highly acclaimed run as ‘Stacee Jaxx' in Broadway's 'ROCK OF AGES', and has also performed in the Broadway hit musical ‘BURN THE FLOOR’ and on stages such as London’s West End (‘WE WILL ROCK YOU’, ‘RENT’, ‘BUDDY’) and in Australia (‘GREASE’, ‘FAME’, ‘RENT’, ‘WEST SIDE STORY’, ‘BUDDY’), sang on television shows (ROCKSTAR:INXS, HANDEL’S MESSIAH ROCKS, THE ROYAL VARIETY PERFORMANCE), toured with concerts (‘THRILLER:LIVE!’, ‘QUEEN SYMPHONIC SPECTACULAR’, ‘THE MUSIC OF Andrew Lloyd Webber’), and played exploding vampires on film (QUEEN OF THE DAMNED). But it is MiG’s love of writing, recording, producing, that makes MiG feel most at home.
His new album is ready to be launched in style at New York's Highline Ballroom. The show will not only be his official album launch, but will also be his 'Farewell USA' show. It will include a set of songs from his albums, as well as selections from his Broadway shows, and some of his all-time favourite songs. Special guests Mike Clifford and ALEGAR will join MiG and his band to set the Highline alight with his infections brand of rock and pop.
MiG will use this opportunity to bring light to LOVE146.ORG, an organization dedicated to the eradication of child sex slavery and exploitation.
In support of the organization ROCK & RAWHIDE, concert goers are encouraged to bring new or used dog toys and drop it in the R & R basket at the Highline Ballroom. These will then be brought to animal shelters to help reduce the stress levels of these adoptable caged animals.
