The PigPen Theatre Co. bring THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON to the Old Globe thorugh June 18th.

Now, after delighting audiences in New York, Chicago, and Boston, The Old Man and The Old Moon makes its West Coast premiere. The Old Man tends to The Old Moon, refilling the light that spills out every night. When his wife unexpectedly leaves home, The Old Man abandons his post and plunges the world into darkness. His eventful journey across land, air, and sea to find her reminds them-and us-of the unwavering power of love.

Performances begin this Saturday, May 13 at The Old Globe for the West Coast premiere of The Old Man and The Old Moon by acclaimed theatre troupe PigPen Theatre Co. Directed by PigPen Theatre Co. and Stuart Carden in their Globe debuts, this intriguing and inventive tale full of music and puppetry runs through June 18 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. From the creators of 'The Art of FLIGHT,' Red Bull Media House presents 'The Fourth Phase,' which tells the story of iconic snowboarder Travis Rice embarking on a journey to dreamlike landscapes around the North Pacific, discovering more than new terrain. Under amateur licence from Josef Weinberger Ltd., Bishopsgate Institute and Centre Stage London will perform a staged concert of Ahrens and Flaherty's Ragtime - The Musical for six performances only in June 2016. Ragtime - The Musical  is based on the 1975 novel Ragtime by E L Doctorow and features music by Stephen Flaherty,  lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and book by Terrence McNally - all of which won Tony Awards in 1998. This production will run at the Bishopsgate Institute in the heart of the City of London from 14 to 19 June.

 Acclaimed New York band and theatre company, PigPen Theatre Co., have confirmed two shows at Rough Trade in Brooklyn, February 29 and March 14.

Rehearsals recently began for Theatre for a New Audience's production of William Shakespeare's PERICLES directed by Trevor Nunn, featuring OBIE Award-winner Christian Camargo in the title role and leading a diverse company of 22 actors.
