According to the Hollywood Reporter, Glee star Diana Agron is set to play the romantic lead in the upcoming Dreamworks flick "I Am Number Four."  The film is an adaptation of a James Fray and Jobie Hughes young-adult novel.

The movie is about nine aliens who beam down to Earth, escaping invasion by a rival species on their home planet. The title character, played by British actor Alex Pettyfer, tries to disguise himself as a high school student, but finds out his disguise did not fool his nemesis. Though already dating a classmate, Dianna becomes the love interest and confidant of the visiting alien.

The film will mark Agron's big screen debut with production by Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg and direction by D.J. Caruso. Four is to begin filming next month in Pittsburgh, and is set to be released in 2011.

Agron's most notable role to date is Quinn Fabray, a high school cheerleader, on the FOX series Glee, which has received a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe, since the series began in September 2009.  Agron has appeared on television shows such as Shark, Close to Home, CSI: NY, Numb3rs and a recurring role on Veronica Mars. She then appeared as Harper on a 13 episode series of short films called It's a Mall World, directed by Milo Ventimiglia, and airing on MTV, and then on the second season of Heroes.
